Ana Rita Chavier Caamaño is a first-generation Dominican-American travel writer, jewelry designer, entrepreneur, and creator and star of Tradition Cafe on YouTube.
Passion for my Dominican-American heritage drove me to start Tienda La Ciguapa. Bringing gifts to my friends from the Caribbean island was always a source of much joy for me. Tienda La Ciguapa was a natural progression. As a travel writer, I could share my culture, history, and cuisine with the world, which only fueled my fire.
But, my hunger to learn about other cultures made me determined to create a space to support and host visiting artists, makers, practitioners, and entrepreneurs. I wanted to experience their creativity with them.
